Summer 2025 Dairy Farm Representative Intern

Job Description

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist Western Area member dairy preparation for FARM program evaluation
• Animal Welfare – Environmental Stewardship – Workforce Development

• Schedule member farm visits to review FARM program materials and develop a current FARM binder

• Communicate withHispanicworkers the importance of the FARM program and biosecurity program

• Outreach to Western Area members on dairy biosecurity program review for implementation

• Assist field staff with membership tasks

• Assist with membership / industry meetings as requested

Educational Requirements:

• Candidate must be a junior or senior in the fall of 2025

Degree Focus:

• Qualified candidate will have a degree focus in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Ag Business or related field

Other qualifications:

• Candidate should be able to communicate effectively in Spanish
